And so many of my clients come to me with sore knees to kind of help to get them kind of working again, at least that you can take away some of the pain from them.
And it's amazing what you can do to strengthen up any joint.
And that is my prime focus when I train people is to get muscles as strong as they can be. And that's no different to knees. So I'm just going to show you some few little tools, tips and tools of the trade today of exercises to strengthen sore knees, for a stronger happier you.
A Little Story (transcribed from the end of the video):
I had one of my clients recently who had wanted to do about an eight hour day walk in Tasmania. It's got I think about 13, 14,000 steps now. It used to be just hilly but now it's all steps and she had never been able to do that before.
Her aim was to do it but she'd never been able to do it and I'm happy to say in the last couple of weeks she was ecstatic because she could do this walk now. Her knees were never allowed to do it before.
Never believe that your body can't work for you. It can. You just need to work out ways that it can and yeah I think as a nurse also I see patients who are quite content to take pain relief all the time and you talk to them about going somewhere for strengthening and I know the best places that I am around here that work on certain areas and there's so many people out there that would prefer to take pain relief.
I would say to you do whatever you can to get your body strong and find somebody that's good. Find somebody that cares about you that's not just going to be a gun hoe but really care about your body and trying to make it the best it can be.
