Unlocking the upper portion of our back - the thoracic area, can allow so much more movement, and this ball release can easily be done at home.
There is already a curvature in this area of the upper spine, and it’s a natural kyphosis, but this curvature can be made worse from sitting hunched over a computer, driving, or sitting for long periods.
As a result of being hunched over, it can alter the length of the muscles around the spine and rib cage as well as the chest muscles and we can become locked up.
This is just one way of unlocking this tight area.
Tip:- never place any equipment for myofascial release directly on the spine.
